CHALLENGE AND PS4 TALISMAN UPDATE

Hello Talisman fans!

We’re excited to share updates regarding the upcoming Challenge Update for Talisman: Digital Edition, along with news about the development of the PS4 version of Talisman: Digital Edition too. As always, we want to keep you as up-to-date as possible when it comes to the exciting things that are happening to your favourite digital board game.

First of all, let’s talk about the free update we’ve got coming to Talisman!

The Challenge Update

We’re pleased to announce that The Challenge Update will be coming to the Steam, iOS and Android versions of Talisman: Digital Edition on March 1st, 2021!

For Nintendo Switch owners, you’ll have to wait a little bit longer - but we’re hoping we can get it to you all in the 2nd week of March.

Hopefully you’ll have already seen our sneak peak at what this free update will add to Talisman, but if you haven’t… check it out here! We’ve been playing with this update internally for a good while now, and we can already see how much it adds to the game. Having different goals to reach for is one thing, but being able to show off your Talisman skills to your friends with titles and exclusive avatars adds a whole new level of fun to playing the game.

We’re including a whole heap of exciting challenges with this initial release, but since finishing up the update we’ve already started looking at how we can expand and add to this feature going forward. If you have any suggestions - we’re all ears!

We’re also going to be doing some exciting developer streams to celebrate the update launching, so stay tuned to our social media to find out when we’ll be going live.

PS4 Development Update

Over the last few months, we’ve been working hard to completely recode Talisman: Digital Edition from the ground-up to work on PS4. We posted a blog here on our website that went over exactly what the PS4 update needed, and answered a bunch of common community questions. You can give it a read here.

We’re happy to say that we’ve now got the PS4 version of Talisman: Digital Edition to a state where we can confidently submit it to Sony for approval. We’ve sorted out everything we needed to do on the store back-end in order to make all the new Talisman DLC available to purchase, while keeping the original PS4 DLC in the same packages as when it originally launched. So there is no need to repurchase anything! We’ll be sure to keep you all updated as it progresses, and hope you can all enjoy the latest Talisman experience very soon!
