BOARD GAME CAFE DEVELOPMENT UPDATE

In 2024, we were thrilled to announce our first original title as a studio - Board Game Cafe! As a studio focused on adapting board games into digital versions, it was an incredible privilege to even attempt to launch our own game.

Combining our experience in board games and video games, we set out to create something truly unique. Sadly, since we announced Board Game Cafe, unforeseen challenges have arisen for our small studio.

While taking on our own original game was always going to be a big risk, the entire team at Nomad Games worked tirelessly throughout 2024 to balance all of our different projects and commitments. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we haven’t been able to commit to Board Game Cafe as much as we’d needed to.

This has led us to the difficult decision to put the game on ice for now. We will not be actively continuing development on Board Game Cafe, instead focusing on our other projects. We might come back to Board Game Cafe in the future, but for now we’re shifting our focus and energy where it needs to be.

Halting development on a project is never easy, especially when it’s one we’ve already shown to the public. We know a lot of you were excited for Board Game Cafe, and we massively appreciate all the enthusiasm you showed for it.
