Hello everyone!
Over the last 11+ years that Nomad Games has been a company, we’ve gained a ton of experience and gone through a lot of exciting changes. Today, we’re extremely excited to announce our next change as a games studio - we’re offering our development services for hire!
You can find out all about what we offer as a development studio over in the new Development Services area of our website.
We’re still going to keep making the awesome games you know us for, but we want to expand as a studio, and taking on exciting projects like the work we’ve done on the Ready Set Bet companion app means we can continue to grow!

NOMAD GAMES OPENS DEVELOPMENT SERVICES GROUP
Nomad Games expands its games studio toolkit by entering the world of development services
Nomad Games has been a proud independent games studio since 2011, formed by highly experienced members of former studios THQ Warrington and Juice Games Limited. Nomad Games are now expanding through recruitment and by offering their range of skills to other studios looking to bring extra strength to their next project.
Currently, Nomad Games is completing CATAN® - Console Edition for Xbox One/Xbox Series X | S and PlayStation 4/5. Published by Dovetail Games, the title is expected to be released in early 2023. As the studio moves into 2023, they are looking to recruit more programmers and artists to help build in-house projects and expand their development services.
Nomad Games have completed a wide range of projects on console platforms - including Xbox, Playstation and Switch - PC and mobile platforms including iOS and Android, with development platforms including Unity, Unreal and C++ tailored solutions. The studio covers a broad spectrum of requirements from engineering, art, design and QA support to full end-to-end project development, with extensive experience in handling licensed products. Their decade of experience in publishing also allows them to offer support for developing Live Ops and ongoing content.
“We’ve gathered a wealth of knowledge in the games industry throughout the years that we’ve been working as a games studio. Seeing the huge demand for development skills out there, we wanted to make sure that other studios and publishers are aware of what we can offer.” said Don Whiteford, Managing Director at Nomad Games. “We’re excited to use our hard-earned experience to help make great projects even better”.
Nomad Games was originally formed by a team of experienced game developers with an accomplished track record that spans more than 20 years. Born from a shared passion for tabletop games and digital games, Nomad Games also works with a number of major licensors to take physical games and transform them into exciting digital adaptations.
