FURY OF DRACULA: DIGITAL EDITION RELEASED

Hello Hunters!

The big day is finally here! We got through a slight delay, worked hard alongside our wonderful beta testers and spent a whole year working hard on Fury of Dracula: Digital Edition through a global pandemic, and now it's finally available to purchase! Check it out on Steam below:

To celebrate, we're offering a week-long launch discount, where you'll be able to grab the game for 10% off. And as thanks to everyone who has already supported our small studio, we're also offering everyone who owns Talisman: Digital Edition an extra 10% off the game! We wouldn't be where we are today without the support you've all given us over the years, so this is our way of saying thanks.

We're also offering a discounted bundle for Fury of Dracula: Digital Edition that includes both the game and the official soundtrack. Our in-house composer has been working to make the perfect soundtrack for Fury of Dracula, and you can read more about it here if you're interested!

What happens now the game is released?

First of all, we're going to all celebrate here at Nomad! We still can't all go into the office, so releasing a game feels a lot weirder than it normally would. We're sure we'll find a way to celebrate the release, but it definitely won't be our usual trip to the local pub! We'll also be keeping an eye on outlets for their reviews and coverage, and the community as well.

We're also not finished with Fury of Dracula: Digital Edition development! We're going to be quiet for a bit while we get our house in order, but we've already got a list of things we're going to be rolling out in future updates.

These include, but are not limited to:

  • More tutorials/guides

  • House rules

  • Variations in AI difficulty

  • 1v4 multiplayer

  • Friends support for user accounts

  • iOS and Android support

We're also going to be working on bug fixes and keeping an eye on what issues you all report in order to iron out any remaining bugs.

We'll be putting together a fully fledged What's Next for Fury of Dracula? blog next week, to share a much more detailed update with you all. We're also very open to suggestions on what you'd like to see, so please reach out to us if you have ideas!

Our Official Press Release:

Today, independent developer and publisher Nomad Games released their latest digital board game adaptation: Fury of Dracula: Digital Edition on Steam.

Set in late 19th century Europe, Fury of Dracula: Digital Edition sees four iconic vampire hunters hunting down clues to stop Dracula before he creates an unstoppable army of mindless vampire thralls. With a strong emphasis on teamwork and gothic horror, this is a game that will appeal to both new fans, and those who remember the classic board game.

Originally released in 1987, Fury of Dracula has gathered a cult following among the board game community, where it is praised as pioneering horror and social deduction board games. Based on the 4th Edition of the board game, Fury of Dracula: Digital Edition is the latest digital adaptation by industry veterans Nomad Games.

The game launches with single-player, local multiplayer and online multiplayer modes, with extra features planned for the game after release. The game also features a full tutorial and advanced rulesets, giving players more options to play.

Nomad Games first adapted the multiplayer version of the Games Workshop board game Talisman to PC, tablets and mobile devices in 2014. Since then they have created a range of award-winning digital board game adaptations across PC, mobile and console.
