TALISMAN COMES TO PLAY PASS
Hi Talisman fans!
We’ve got some exciting news for you all - we’re bringing Talisman: Digital Edition to Google Play Pass! If you want to find out more about Google Play Pass and how it works, you can check out the full run-down over on the Google Play Pass website. Talisman: Digital Edition will be added to the Play Pass catalogue the week commencing 15th April, so put it in your diary!
This means that if you subscribe to Google Play Pass (or are already subscribed to it!), you’ll be able to download Talisman: Digital Edition as part of your subscription. Not only that, you’ll also gain access to each and every piece of DLC content too!
We’re super excited to welcome a whole new wave of Talisman players to the game, but we know you’ll have some questions about how exactly Talisman: Digital Edition works on Google Play Pass, which we’ve answered below! We’ve tried to cover everything we think you’ll want to know about, but if you’ve still got questions you can reach out to us in a ton of different ways.
I already own Talisman on Android - what happens when I sign up to Google Play Pass?
While they’re exactly the same game from a user perspective, there are now technically two versions of Talisman: Digital Edition available on Google Play - the original version, and the Google Play Pass version. The Google Play Pass version contains all the expansions, characters and extra content available for the game - so once you sign up to Google Play Pass, you’ll be prompted to download the Play Pass version of Talisman. Once you do, you’ll then have access to everything!
What happens if I already own Talisman on Android, sign up to Google Play Pass and then my subscription expires?
You’ll go back to owning the original version of Talisman: Digital Edition, along with all of the expansions, characters and extra content you originally purchased before you signed up to Google Play Pass. Anything you’ve already purchased will still be there, waiting for you!
You can sync your DLC purchases between Android and other platforms - can I do that with the Google Play Pass version?
Because you’re subscribing to Google Play Pass instead of making a permanent purchase, we’re not able to support DLC syncing between platforms like we’d normally do.
This is due to a mixture of platform restrictions and also issues with checking ownership after your Play Pass membership expires. We did look into a number of different ways to potentially offer syncing as a feature, but it wasn’t possible.

Can I still play online multiplayer cross-platform?
You absolutely can! Whether you’re on Google Play Pass or you’ve bought Talisman: Digital Edition from the Google Play Store, you can play online with your friends just the same.
